Require Project Based Contract Staff for Creation of livelihood opportunities for Vandhan Vikas Kendras/ SHGs/ FPOs by creating a platform to act as Service Providers to the EMRS and Ashram School under Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) is a wholly owned Company of NABARD and a leading consultancy organization in the field of agriculture and rural development (www.nabcons.com).

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, has undertaken various education initiatives for the upliftment of the tribal population across the country. Among these, Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) and ‘Ashram schools’ are flag ship programs to provide quality education. These residential schools need support in linkage with community-based organization for products and services. 

NABCONS, acting as the consulting and project management unit (PMU), seeks professionals to promote income generation activities among community-based organizations (CBOs) such as Local Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), FPOs and Van-Dhan Vikas Kendras. The goal is to link these CBOs with the schools in tribal districts of Gujarat and Maharashtra. For execution of the project, NABCONS invites ONLINE applications from Indian Citizens on contract basis, for the following posts as Project Based Contract Staff.

Job Description	Mobilisation and Identification of potential SHGs/ CBOs/ FPOs for linkages with EKMRS Schools and other potential schools in those area. Identification of potential business opportunities for SHGs/ CBOs / FPOs to act as a service providers. Preparing sustainable business plan for identified SHGs/ CBOs/ FPOs and linkages with financial institution. Coordination and liasioning with district administration, SRLM team and other line department at district level. Involvement in Training Need assessment, Conducting training, monitoring of Schools, analysis of issues pertaining to EKMRS projects and CBOs. Conduct field visits, studies, convene stakeholder consultations/discussions for policy inputs or for implementation of projects. Assist State Coordinator in preparation of Study, Report, TNA, and draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Any other work assigned by State Coordinator / HO- NABCONS.
Educational Qualification	MBA / MBA in Agribusiness / Rural Development/ Natural resource Management / Forestry Management/  Master in Gender & Development / MSW  from reputed national/ international institution/ University
Experience	Min. 3 Yr Exp. Enterprise development, SHGs promotion/ Agriculture marketing systems with focused experience in market linkages with institutional agencies, service providers such as banks and other financial institution, insurance companies, logistic companies, certification and standardization etc. Has demonstrated experience in coordinating purchase/ sell from buyers/sellers, managing contractual agreements, lead generation, liasoning with market linkage forums, analysis of market and market opportunities.  Has worked with State/Central Govt in projects/scheme related to promotion of enterprise through CBOs.
Other Requirements	a) Must possess good writing and communication skills b) Should have experience in field monitoring c) Should have database management knowledge. c) Must be proficient in MS Office, MS Power Point, MS Excel.
Age as on 01  July 2024	Below  50 Years
Monthly Remuneration	INR 60,000 ( All inclusive)
Location	Posting shall be in any one of the locations i.e. Surat, Tapi, Valsad ( Gujarat ) or Palghar & Nashik ( Maharashtra)

Other Condition:

• The candidates will be liable for tax liabilities under section 194J of the Income Tax Act & Rules in force and the tax will be deducted at source.
• The candidate will be eligible for Travelling Allowance facilities per NABCONS Policy.
• The candidate will be eligible for Leave facilities as per NABCONS Policy.

Contract Period:

The Project Based Contract Staff will be appointed for a period of one year which may be extended based on requirement of the project, performance of the candidates and will be co-terminus with the project period.

Termination of Contract:

First three months will be probation period during which NABCONS shall have the right to terminate the services of the individual without any notice period or assigning any reason. Thereafter the contract is terminable by giving three months’ notice period on either side.

General Information:

• Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Location for the interview will be indicated in the call letter. The candidates may kindly note that any cost incurred by them for attending the interview will not be reimbursed by NABCONS.
• The applicant may submit the declaration in the Google form with respect to the educational qualification and experience. Self-attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates to be compulsorily submitted at the time of the interview. Original documents would be required for verification.
• Place of posting of the candidates will be as per Table 1 above. The candidates can be posted anywhere in India depending upon the project requirement. Further, as a part of their functioning the above consultants may be required to travel across the mentioned state and other parts of the country from time to time.
• List of selected and waitlisted candidates for the post will be uploaded in NABCONS website (www.nabcons.com) after the selection process is completed. The validity of the selection list and waitlisted candidates will be co-terminus with the project.
• No correspondence will be entertained from any ineligible and non-selected candidate in all matter regarding eligibility, the selection process, documents to be produced for the selection process, assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards, number of vacancies, communication of result , etc. the company’s decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
• The final appointment will be based on the decision of selection committee constituted for the purpose. Company reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of posts or not to fill up any of the posts.
• The appointment shall be subject to being found medically fit, for which purpose the candidate shall be required to undergo the protocol of medical tests upon reporting at place of posting. The continuance in NABCONS’s service shall be subject to remaining medically fit to discharge duties and responsibilities. The decision of NABCONS regarding medical fitness shall be final and binding on the candidate.
