Job Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives to minimize environmental impact and promote social responsibility within the operations.
• Analyzing and monitoring the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, identifying areas for improvement, and setting targets for sustainability metrics.
• Engaging with stakeholders, including investors, regulators, customers, and communities, to communicate the bank's sustainability efforts and gather feedback.
• Integrating sustainability considerations into the decision-making processes, such as lending practices, investment decisions, and corporate governance.
• Leading sustainability reporting efforts, ensuring accurate and transparent disclosure of the sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as risk management, compliance, and corporate communications, to align sustainability objectives with overall business goals.
• Staying informed about emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices in the banking industry, and advising senior management on strategic opportunities and risks.
• Promoting a culture of sustainability within the bank, encouraging employee engagement and participation in sustainability initiatives.
• Building partnerships with external organizations, such as non-profits, government agencies, and industry associations, to advance sustainability goals and address shared challenges.
• Advocating for sustainable finance practices, including green lending, impact investing, and support for renewable energy projects, to drive positive social and environmental outcomes.
