About the Organization

Tata Institute of Social Sciences is a multi-campus public university in Mumbai, India. It is Asia's oldest institute for professional social work education and was founded in 1936 in the then Bombay Presidency of British India as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work by the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS or Public-health/Social Sciences
• Experience in data collection, probing, and note-taking.
• c. Conducting Focused Group Discussions (FGDs), Key Informants Interviews (KII), In-Depth Interviews, and survey questionnaires.
• Essential: Master’s degree and PhD is desirable in public health/population sciences, social sciences, or relevant disciplines.
• Practicing doctors, professors, and post-graduate students from medical and allied colleges, will be considered an added advantage.

Competencies required for (ii) Translation and/or Translation-transcription

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS/Public-health/Social Sciences
• Experience in translation and/or translation-transcription from various languages to English and vice versa.
• Essential: Master’s degree and PhD is desirable in public health/population sciences, social sciences, or relevant disciplines.

Competencies required for (iii) Data coding and thematic analysis

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of HIV/AIDS/Public-health/Social Sciences Research work experience in examining qualitative data, coding, identifying themes and concepts etc.

Essential:

• Master’s degree and PhD is desirable in public health/population sciences, social sciences, or relevant disciplines.
