Job Position: Field Coordinator – Health Program
Locations: Bokaro (Jharkhand)
No. of Position: 3
CTC: 2.4 LPA - 3 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)
Type of Employment - Contractual for 5 Months
About the Position:
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the on-ground implementation of the Health Program across schools and communities in Bokaro district. The role involves coordinating field activities, facilitating awareness and training sessions, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution and reporting of program activities. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about community development and health promotion and are comfortable working extensively in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to schools and communities to monitor program activities and ensure effective implementation.
- Organize and facilitate awareness sessions, trainings, workshops, and community engagement activities related to health and well-being.
- Mobilize students, teachers, community members, and other stakeholders for program participation.
- Support the identification, onboarding, and capacity building of local volunteers, peer educators, or community champions.
- Monitor the distribution and utilization of program materials, resources, and educational tools.
- Collect field-level data, beneficiary feedback, success stories, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, field updates, and activity records to the Project Coordinator.
- Support the planning and execution of community outreach events, campaigns, and special initiatives.
- Coordinate with schools, local authorities, community leaders, and partner stakeholders to strengthen program implementation.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Public Health, Rural Development, Education, Sociology, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in field-level program implementation and community mobilization.
- Prior experience in health, adolescent health, education, WASH, or community development projects will be preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with schools, communities, and local stakeholders.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities.
- Experience in conducting trainings, awareness sessions, and community outreach activities.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Sheets for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to travel extensively within Bokaro district.
- Proficiency in Hindi is essential; knowledge of local dialects will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Immediate Joiners preferred.
- Willingness to work in field-based environments and travel within the project area.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with the project team.
