Role Purpose

Dalmia Bharat Foundation is looking for a dynamic professional to oversee the placement function of its skill training centres under DIKSHa.

The role will be responsible for creating employment opportunities for students trained across DIKSHa Skilling Centres in India by:

• Building strong industry partnerships.
• Developing a continuous pipeline of job opportunities across trades.
• Working closely with centres to facilitate effective student placements.
• Tracking employment outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA / PGDM / Master’s degree in Rural Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in placements within the skilling space.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to represent the organization with various stakeholders, placement partners and industries.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain partnerships with employers, industries, recruitment agencies and other stakeholders to create employment opportunities for DIKSHa students across India.
• Generate and maintain a continuous pipeline of relevant job opportunities across all trades offered at DIKSHa Skilling Centres.
• Build strategic relationships with national and regional employers to facilitate bulk hiring and recurring placement opportunities.
• Take regular feedback from employers and industry stakeholders on job roles, skill requirements and trade demand.
• Advise Centre Managers to start new trades, review existing trades or close trades that are no longer in demand.
• Understand the trade-wise and centre-wise student pass-out pipeline and map suitable employment opportunities accordingly.
• Coordinate with DIKSHa Centres for candidate profiles, job requirements, shortlisting, interviews and recruitment drives.
• Ensure timely collection and sharing of job details, including role, location, eligibility criteria, salary and other employment conditions.
• Track job opportunities, interviews, selections, joining and placement outcomes through effective MIS and regular follow-ups.
• Analyse employer feedback and placement trends to identify gaps and strengthen employer engagement and employment outcomes across the program.
