Job Description

This role is based in Delhi, with flexible work arrangements available including hybrid and remote options. The intern will involve working closely with Senior Associate (Fundraising & Development) and different other internal departments. The Development department exists to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward philanthropies and bilateral/multilateral organisations interested in supporting Janaagraha.

We are looking for an intern for a period of six (6) months with strong research skills, resource mapping, prioritizing identified potential opportunities, team coordination, donor – data management, documentation, reporting and assist in preparing for reviews.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities under this under this internship would include but not limited to:

• Map out potential resources and grant funding opportunities in India
• Manage donor data and update periodically
• Check Donor’s eligibility criteria and ensure that the Areas of Interests (AoIs) are aligned with Janaagraha’s Areas of Operations (AoOs)
• Prioritize grant funding opportunities based on deadlines
• Prepare checklists for identified funding opportunities
• Good working knowledge of MS Office – Is able to draft sharp slide decks,
• Coordinate with other internal departments / teams to collect and collate required documents
• Ensure the availability of documents while submitting proposals / bids etc.
• Support the Development team in uploading proposals / bids in e-procurement portals, brief write ups, developing pitch decks etc.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Someone currently pursuing or who has obtained a bachelor’s degree or masters in – Social Work, Development Studies, Urban Development, Extension Education, Marketing and Communication Management, business administration, or equivalent.
