Internship Job Description:

The following job description is for an internship opportunity to support the Secretariat of the Investment Platform, housed with GIZ India. Key tasks have been identified below.

Tasks to be undertaken:

• Assist in stakeholder mapping and maintaining communication with public and private sector partners, industry associations, academia, and development organizations.
• Support the planning, coordination, and documentation of Working Group meetings, workshops, consultations, and high-level events.
• Conduct background research and prepare briefing notes, presentations, meeting
• summaries, and knowledge products on renewable energy and investment-related
• topics.
• Support the preparation of minutes of meeting, communication materials, reports, presentations and other project deliverables.
• Assist in monitoring project activities and maintaining documentation and databases.
• Support in event planning and organising for conferences and relevant meetings.
• Provide administrative and organizational support to the project team as required.
• Undertake other tasks aligned with the objectives of the project.

Your Profile:

• Currently in the final year of, or recently graduated from, a Master's programme in Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, International Relations, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, climate finance, sustainable development, climate policy, and / or international cooperation.
• Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of German is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis or visualization tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team. Proactive and agile person, comfortable with driving activities with limited guidance, accustomed to navigating uncertainty with an ability to thrive in fast- paced, fluid environment. S/He is expected to be a lateral thinker and willing to work with strict deadlines.
