Job Description

Control Risks’ Embedded Consulting team is looking for a Junior Business Continuity Analyst to help support a client's Business Continuity Management (BCM) team. The analyst will support the client’s BC efforts by helping to develop BIAs, updating training modules, and supporting the client’s tabletop exercises. This position is for a junior resource and will ideally be based in our clients' primary location in Hyderabad, although there is some scope for the role to be based in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the client’s BCM team in planning, development, and execution of different projects aimed at enhancing the BCM program globally.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to help plan and support in the execution of tabletop exercises.
  • Help execute the BC strategy as developed by the head of the BCM team.
  • Assist with business impact assessments to determine core business functions, dependencies, priorities for recovery, recovery requirements, and recovery time objective(s).
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize customer impacts and ensure the timely recovery of core business functions during and after a business disruption.
  • Update business continuity trainings and awareness plans.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years' experience in business continuity, security, intelligence, crisis management or another related field.
  • Desire to grow and learn further in the business continuity space.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment, showcasing flexibility and agility in managing diverse tasks concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision making.
