Job Description
Lead ESG strategy is responsible for support Lead- ESG Strategy in supporting various initiatives taken under E, S &G strategy, managing various programs, supervising the work of sub-ordinates under this team, responsible for coordinating the environment and social initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements of PI’s operating locations; and developing, implementing, monitoring organizational ESG management system. The incumbent works with all the departments and business leaders across all regions.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Lead ESG Strategy in implementing the annual action plans and presenting to ESG Council.
- Staying abreast of relevant research and trends in the areas of focus and promoting best practices.
- Implementation of initiatives taken under E, S & G strategy including managing the end to end activities involved under assessments.
- Implementation of ESG initiatives with respective E, S & G stakeholders.
Operational Responsibilities
Support Lead- ESG Strategy in managing and strengthening overall ESG Department by:
ESG:
- Acting as co-ordinator for the Company's ESG initiatives in building relationships with community partners and key stakeholders.
- Work as part of and manage a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG.
- Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.
- Manage the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.
- Coordinating with all departments for end to end management of execution of the initiatives and improvement areas identified during ESG Assessments.
- Support in preparing the GRI and other relevant reports on ESG; preparation and coordination with the branding team for its release.
- Coordinating with internal team to identify programmes aligned with business sustainability.
Reporting. Data Management:
- Maintain tools and matrices such as MIS to track, evaluate and monitor the ESG commitment
- Management and engagement of third party consultants and evaluation and oversight over execution of projects to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with professional qualifications in ESG, Business Administration or related International Standards.
- Master’s in social sciences/Law/ ESG Management (preferred)
Work Experience
- Related work experience at multi-national company or above 7-9 years’ experience in Environment, Health and Safety management; should be in a supervisory capacity in EHS related roles.
