Manager, Communication and Advocacy

Pragya Solutions is a group with the aim of creating, undertaking and supporting impactful development programming. We seek to deliver integrated and holistic development projects in the areas of agriculture, natural resource management, water management, disaster management, renewable energy, education, health and gender. We work throughout South Asia, operating through a network of autonomous country-specific entities in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, as well as in partnership with close associates in other parts of the world, working with grassroots civil society organisations, academic and research institutions, as well as State actors, in the respective countries, for effective delivery on projects.

Pragya invites applications for the following position: 

Position: Manager, Communication and Advocacy

Location: Gurgaon, India

Role:

• Composing communication material for trainings and campaigns using diverse media
• Anchoring advocacy and knowledge forums developed by Pragya
• Designing and conducting e-conferences and webinars

Person Specification:

The person will be required to be very self-motivated and should ideally possess the following:

• Qualifications: Masters' degree or equivalent in Arts, Communication or Humanities
• Experience: A minimum of eight years 
• Language: Good communication skills and strong command over English language
• Good command over social media and other e-tools, and a keen interest in designing campaigns and visibility products, media and advocacy
