Manager - Virtual Incubator for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Manager to lead our Virtual Incubator program, providing comprehensive support to Entrepreneurs with Disabilities across India. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the incubation process, from identifying promising entrepreneurs to guiding them through startup, sustenance, and scaling phases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in entrepreneurship, program management, and a deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment.

 Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust virtual incubation program to support entrepreneurs with disabilities throughout India.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard promising entrepreneurs into the incubation program through partnerships, outreach, and networking.
• Provide personalized coaching, mentorship, and guidance to entrepreneurs at various stages of business development.
• Facilitate workshops, webinars, and training sessions covering key business topics such as business planning, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Connect entrepreneurs with relevant resources, networks, and opportunities to accelerate their growth and sustainability.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and disability support organizations, to create a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs with disabilities.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of incubated businesses, track key performance indicators, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
• Regular Impact Assessment, documentation and Reports on progress of Incubatees
• Plan and manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and grant proposals to secure funding for program expansion.
• Stay informed about best practices in entrepreneurship, disability inclusion, and business development to continually enhance the incubation program.
• Represent the organization at events, conferences, and forums to promote the virtual incubator and advocate for disability entrepreneurship.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in entrepreneurship, business incubation, or startup ecosystem development.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs with disabilities. 
• Experience in program management, including designing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Empathetic and inclusive leadership style, with a passion for supporting marginalized communities and a Team Player
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of Digital Tools and Social Media
• Familiarity with government regulations, funding opportunities, and support programs for entrepreneurs.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for virtual communication and remote collaboration.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a desire to drive social impact through entrepreneurship.
