Position Overview

CSRBOX is looking for a Manager – Social Impact Solutions with strong consulting experience and a proven track record in social impact, CSR, program strategy and stakeholder management.

The role involves working with corporate and institutional clients to understand their social impact priorities, develop customized solutions, manage consulting engagements, and support the design and execution of impactful CSR and development programs.

The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex social challenges into practical, scalable and measurable solutions while managing multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality outputs.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Social Impact Consulting & Strategy

• Lead consulting assignments related to CSR, ESG, sustainability and social impact.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into customized social impact solutions.
• Conduct sector research, needs assessments and landscape analysis.
• Develop CSR strategies, program frameworks, implementation plans and impact roadmaps.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on research, data and stakeholder insights.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with corporate clients, foundations, government departments, NGOs and implementation partners.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, workshops and review discussions.
• Understand client expectations and ensure timely delivery of consulting assignments.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Build long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for further engagement.

3. Proposal Development & Business Support

• Develop concept notes, proposals, technical presentations, project plans and consulting reports.
• Support business development through research, solution design and client presentations.
• Identify emerging opportunities in CSR, ESG, sustainability and social development.
• Contribute to the preparation of budgets, timelines and implementation frameworks.
• Support the development of case studies, knowledge products and thought leadership content.

4. Program Design & Implementation Support

• Design and review social impact programs across sectors such as education, livelihoods, healthcare, environment, skilling and community development.
• Develop monitoring frameworks, KPIs and impact measurement approaches.
• Support implementation partners in program planning and delivery.
• Review project progress, identify challenges and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are aligned with client objectives and organizational standards.

5. Research, Monitoring & Reporting

• Conduct primary and secondary research on social impact themes and development priorities.
• Analyze program data and prepare insights for decision-making.
• Develop impact reports, dashboards, presentations and client updates.
• Track project milestones, deliverables and outcomes.
• Support impact assessments, evaluations and documentation of best practices.

6. Team Management & Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor and guide team members working on consulting and social impact assignments.
• Allocate tasks, monitor deliverables and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including research, program implementation, communications and operations.
• Build internal knowledge resources and share sector insights with the team.

Required Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Rural Development, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Mandatory consulting experience, preferably in social impact, CSR, ESG, sustainability, development consulting or management consulting.
• Experience in CSR strategy, program design, stakeholder management, research and proposal development.
• Strong understanding of the CSR and social development ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willingness to travel across India, as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with corporate CSR teams, foundations, NGOs or government institutions.
• Knowledge of CSR regulations, ESG frameworks and impact measurement.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder consulting projects.
• Ability to develop high-quality reports, presentations and client-facing documents.
• Strong project management and team coordination skills.
• Experience in business development, proposal pitching or client acquisition.
