Education: Post-graduate degree in Agriculture/Horticulture Science or equivalent from recognised University /Institution

Salary Package: 18– 22 LPA

Job Overview:

Samvedna Development Society is seeking a highly experienced National Agronomy Manager to lead policy formulation, supervision, and strategic implementation of programs aimed at strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), horticultural practices, plantation and post-harvest management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in agriculture, rural development, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring impactful execution of national-level initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• To guide all state level Technical Directors (Agronomy/Husbandry) in respect of cost efficient production aspects of agri. value chain.
• To asses FPOs and their farmer-members of all the identified states whether they have received guidance and services for scientific production or not.
•  To take part in awareness /training programmes to be organised FPOs and farmers by SPMU on production aspects.
•  To apprise the progress to National Project Director regularly and coordinate with Data Analyst and FPO Development Officers of CPMU to ensure real time and accurate data entry on Integrated portal

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in horticulture practices, plantation, FPO development, post-harvest management, Agri value chain and agricultural marketing.
• Strong knowledge of government schemes, financial models, and agribusiness ecosystems.
• Proven ability to manage national-level programs and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
