About the Organization
Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is a non-denominational, non-government development organization. AKRSP(I) works as a catalyst for the betterment of rural communities by providing direct support to local communities. AKRSP(I) is active in over 3255 villages of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra. It has impacted lives of over 3.5 million people from marginalised sections of society. Over 80% of the households impacted by AKRSP(I)'s work belong to marginalised communities like tribals, dalits, and minorities. Over 60% of beneficiaries are women who form a core group for program interventions.
Job Description
- Undertake/oversee Programme monitoring, evaluation, research, documentation, and reporting.
- Develop case studies, Impact Studies, Outcome studies/research, proposals etc.
- Operationalization of AKRSP(I) MIS and ensure activity data collection, data quality and data reporting.
- Conduct regular field visits in implementation villages/ communities for not less than 10 days in a month to oversee programme implementation and improve overall programme quality.
- Monitoring of Project implementation and expected result with respect to the Strategy.
- Monitor and communicate Project results with different stakeholders.
- Coordinate external/internal project assessment and visits.
- Liaison with Government, donors, and other agencies etc.
- Coordinate and manage internships and studies.
- MIS/Data analysis and capacity building of the field team.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure Project results.
- Support in Project implementation with data driven insights.
- Provide data/report to different offices as per requirement.
- Represent organization at various levels.
- Any other work assigned by reporting officer
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Masters degree in rural management/ development or social studies/ communications/ research or other relevant fields
- Experience: 2-4 Years in the development sector, preferably in Monitoring Evaluation
Skills & Competencies required
- Excellent written and verbal communication, Reports and Documentation
- Data analysis and management
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Dynamic and research-oriented
- Must have an eye for details and should work in a multi-stakeholder environment and should be team player and able to multitask
