Key Pointers- This is a consultant position for 6 months.

 Preferred local candidate, but someone ready to relocate to given locations is also fine. Office desk will be provided in medical college/govt institute.

 Min 1 year preferred, but freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Central TB Division is implementing Subnational Certification of TB free districts, an initiative of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to encourage State/UT/districts to achieve the sustainable development goals related with TB. Under this collaboration, Piramal Swasthya is hiring short-term positions of Program Assistant – Coordination & Finance for Sub-National Certification of Progress Towards TB Free Status based at ICMR-National Institute for Research in TB, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

This position requires technical expertise, public health experience, strong coordination skills, understanding of administrative and financial processes under public health domain and ability to develop positive, professional working relationships with various government counterparts and other partners.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordination and Data Support

· Support ICMR-NIRT for coordinating with various stakeholders at State and district levels for smooth implementation of the verification process

· Coordinate with district NTEP teams for identification and registration of survey teams, monitoring their training and conducting of survey

· Support ICMR-NIRT for gathering verification reports from all district verification teams.

Bills Section related work:

· Verification of receipt of Mandate and passbook details in Google drive/Excel and update the details (Mandate and passbook queries) states and districts wise in Google drive.

· On the receipt of attendance through Google drive, print has to be taken and obtain signature from PI for onward submission

· Preparation of bill after making necessary entry in the Register.

· Calculation of amount payable to the community survey volunteers as per the attendance received and preparation of contingency bill which is to be authorized by the Officers.

· Submission of bill to Accounts section after making necessary entry in the dispatch register.

· Verification of bills for DTO, DNO, SNO, NNO within the budget limit & eligibility

· Maintenance of routine office records related to this project

Accounts Section related Work:

· Validation of Bank credentials of community survey volunteers in PFMS portal as given by DTO’s. In case of any rejection, rejection report has to be sent to DTO’s for submission of correct bank account details.

· Audit of Contingency bill received from Bills section along with the attendance received and making entry in the respective registers (Hard copy & Soft copy).

· Submission of audited bill for approval of respective authorized signatory.

· Preparation of payment excel sheet for each approved bill, including details of volunteer such as, name of the volunteer, account number, IFSC code and amount and uploading of same in PFMS for processing of payment.

· In case, if the payment is made through bank by way of NEFT/RTGS, payment excel has to be prepared in Bank format and to be submitted to bank along with Covering letter and cheque.

· Verification of each payment with Bank statement immediately by next day

· Updating of payment made details to the NIRT data management team on daily basis.

· Preparation of BRS on daily basis, since many numbers of transactions involved.

· Maintenance of routine office records related to this project.

Essential Qualification & Skills

· Graduate in commerce (B. Com) and possessing working skill in MS Office with work experience in State/Central Govt. Offices and knowledge of GFR Rules will be desirable

Candidates with experience in administration work will be preferred.

· Computer typing speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph)

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Ability to multi task and work under multicultural environment.

· Ability to work in a diverse technical team.

· Proficiency in computers – Microsoft Office.

Duration of posting

· 6 months.

· The incumbent should be able to join the duty station at the earliest.
