Job Description

Title of the Project: Bringing Back Cheetah in India

Field work on animal abundance using distance sampling, camera traps, mark recapture, and occupancy analysis. Monitoring of radio collared leopards, hyenas, jackals, jungle cats, chital & Nilgai. Habitat evaluation and human disturbance assessment. The research work will be carried out in different parts of India. Work will be primarily at field sites with occasional visits to the HQ at Dehradun

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences or equivalent from recognized institute/ University or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification(s)

  • Candidate with prior experience in wildlife Research.

Salary: 31,000 + HRA
