Job Description

The Centre for Behavioral Science intends to hire a Research Assistance/Associate with a postgraduate degree in quantitative field as full-time Research Associates working on a range of projects related to behavioural science. Applicants must have a strong foundation in the core elements of economic theory and have in-depth knowledge of econometric methods along with their applications in business or policy contexts.

The Research Associates will have research responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Survey design and administration,
• Data cleaning and processing,
• Literature reviews,
• Quantitative data analysis,
• Drafting and editing of reports, and
• Project administration related activities.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Candidates with a Master’s in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research and Applied Mathematics are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and related disciplines are also welcome. Ideal candidates will use this experience to hone their skill towards the aim of pursuing higher studies. Candidates should have demonstrated interest in behavioral/experimental studies.

Required skillset

• Candidates must have good knowledge of one of STATA / R and will ideally have prior experience handling large-scale data sets. Understanding of econometric techniques and good language skills will be given preference.
