About Centre for Social and Economic Progress
The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) is an independent, Indian public policy think tank that works on economic growth & development, energy, resources & sustainability and foreign policy & security. Formerly Brookings India.
It requires a motivated researcher who is:
- Fluent in Telugu and English
- Master’s degree (minimum) in a social science subject
- Based in Hyderabad or nearby
- Good writing skills
- Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in surveys and field work,
- Qualitative research,
- Knowledge of education and skilling sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Literature survey and background paper
- Conduct stakeholder consultations (education officers in some state/districts/blocks)
- Assist in training the survey team
- Attend debriefing workshops of the survey team
- ITI qualitative survey and analysis of data
- Document qualitative data and analyse
- State draft report
