Job Description

The Role will map the academic incubation ecosystem globally to identify leading incubation clusters, their characteristics, and business models. The research will deliver the key parameters that quantify cross-sectional and longitudinal impact of incubation and the  approaches used by incubators to measure these. The research will also map the approaches  to incubation taken by leading incubators.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering original analysis and insights, typically owning all or part of an analytics  module whilst coordinating with the Insights Team and Program Team.
• Establishing credibility by thought-partnering with Program Teams on analytics  topics; drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues.
• Communicating analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of  results (including powerpoint slides and charts); collecting, synthesizing, analysing  learning and inputs into new best practices and methodologies.
• Expertise in Excel, Stata, or other statistical analysis tools and data management  applications. Use of programming languages such as Python a plus.
• Experience in understanding and developing data visualization reports and  dashboards.
• Knowledge and use of Power BI or Tableau a plus.
• Deep analytics skills and capability with solid problem-solving approach to "connect  the dots" along with the ability to convert data into a business story.
• Excellent writing and coordination skills to help publish stories, whitepapers, position  papers, and contribute inputs to academic research in an exercise to build thought  leadership. 

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, engineering, social sciences, or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience within a domain such as market research, business consulting, project management, program management, public policy research, or equivalent.
• Previous work experience with a startup or in a startup enabler ecosystem (incubators, accelerators, innovation challenges, competitions, etc.) a plus.
