IFCI is a Systematically Important Non Deposit Taking Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC-ND-SI) in the public sector. Established in 1948 as a statutory corporation, IFCI is a public limited company listed on BSE and NSE. IFCI has six number of subsidiaries and one associate under its fold. IFCI is having mandate to provide financial support for the diversified growth of Industries across the spectrum. The financing activities cover various kind of projects such as airports, roads, telecom, power, real estate, manufacturing, services sector and such other allied industries. IFCI is also the Verifying & Monitoring Agency for various capital subsidy schemes. Under Corporate Advisory, IFCI is offering financial advisory, ESG advisory and other Project advisory services to the Corporate & Government sectors. Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline with MBA/PGDBA/PGDBM/ Chartered Accountant / Cost Management Accountant / CFA/ Master degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Commerce.
Preferred Certifications
- Professional risk certification (FRM / PRM/NISM Certifications (Especially Risk Management related modules)/Certificate in Credit Risk Management from IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking & Finance)/ Professional Credit Risk Certifications (Specialized Credit Risk Certification (CRC)).
Maximum Age
- 38 years as on 31/07/2026
Experience & Skills required
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in a Banks/ FIs/NBFCs/ Consulting Firm in credit risk management, risk modelling, risk policy or ECL computation.
- Risk modelling; ECL computation; understanding of IRAC norms and the regulatory framework for NBFCs; analytical skills and risk-policy drafting.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse the organization's credit risk portfolio, identifying emerging risks, concentration risks, and key risk trends.
- Undertake Expected Credit Loss (ECL) computation and validation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and present risk-related reports, dashboards, and management information for senior management, Board Committees, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the formulation, review, and enhancement of Risk Management Policies, Frameworks, and Procedures in line with the regulatory expectations applicable to NBFC-ND-SIs and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, prudential norms, and risk governance standards.
- Conduct risk analytics and portfolio reviews to support informed decision-making and strengthen the organization's risk oversight framework.
- Coordinate with business, finance, compliance, and audit teams on matters relating to credit risk management and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk measurement methodologies, stress-testing frameworks, and risk monitoring tools.
- Provide subject matter expertise in credit risk assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
- Perform any other duties, assignments, or responsibilities entrusted by IFCI from time to time.
