- Scanning/ Scouting of new business opportunities & tenders across various clients/ donors’ websites
- Comprehending RFPs, Terms of Reference (ToRs), Expression of Interest (EOIs) and coordination with technical teams for end-to-end EOI and Proposal development.
- Understanding MSC's past work/projects and where and how these projects are relevant to the RFPs/EOIs
- Proactive scouting of donors, strategic partners, consultants, and documentation of the same
- Analysing data as it pertains to proposal submissions, win rates, and opportunities and presenting the analysis articulately to senior management.
- Maintaining and up-dating various databases owned by SI in MS-Word, MS-Excel, coordinating with Technical Teams for updating databases.
- Supporting in the preparation of reports (MS-Excel, PPT or word), donor scoping, competitor analysis, quarterly proposal reporting, collaterals and other documents.
- Co-ordinating with internal teams-Administration, Knowledge Management, Finance/Legal as per work requirements.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors/ master’s degree in English, Business Management, or equivalent fields.
- Minimum two years of experience in banking and financial services/ consulting/ related sector. Others with related backgrounds who are interested may also feel free to apply
- Prior experience in MIS, database management, business development, CRM roles will be an added advantage
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word and PowerPoint.
- Dexterity and strong capabilities (including macros) using Microsoft Excel and other Google-supported databases.
Skills and competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and language (English) skills
- Proficiency in MS-Word, MS Powerpoint and Advanced in MS-Excel
- Knowledge of the financial services sector and/or financial inclusion in developing countries/role of digital in financial inclusion and general awareness about developments and major donors within the sector is desirable
- Experience in high-level or C-level executive search/ facilitating partnerships/ business development is an added advantage
- Willingness to work in a demanding, and results-oriented team environment where priorities can change frequently
- Ability to work in a deadline-bound environment and beyond regular working hours, as and when required
- Ability to update data fields, synthesize data, and conduct data analytics
- Good team player, ability to work with a global team and self-starter willing to take initiative
- Ability to effectively present to internal teams to deliver trainings or external teams to provide company overview and capabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and spoken format.
- Solid knowledge of the English language and capacity to write concise and articulate business emails with little to no supervision
