Job Summary:
To play a pivotal role at the national level for managing and coordinating activities and translate learnings of Tribal TB prevention & care from the districts and states to the national level across, liaise with the various Government departments under the aegis of the Tribal Health Collaborative for the fulfilment of the overall objective, support the government departments particularly Central TB division, Ministry of tribal affairs with the technical support including data intelligence & insights, coordinate with the THC in initiating/ organizing/ participating in national level events on Tribal TB, build capacities of the State and District level teams to engage with respective stake holders, provide strategic input for Communitization , State Capacity Building and Innovations to the key personnel of the project – Chief of Party, Technical Advisor, Research Monitoring Learning Evaluation Lead.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Support the State lead in the following:
- Overall state operations- implementation of project activities in districts, reaching the desired deliverables with district teams
- Stakeholder management-State NTEP, Tribal welfare dept, NHM, NGOs, Other relevant partners
- Health system strengthening
- Overseeing HR and admin management of district teams
- Providing onsite visit to districts
- Supervising and reviewing state Project data, district-level data in coordination with State M&E officer and District Program Officer
- Supporting the State M&E officer in recording, reporting and documentation of field activities
- Sharing of best practices, case studies, minutes of meetings, external and internal communications
- Facilitate trainings of field staff and Community influencers
Essential Skills:
- Ability to coordinate with multiple government departments and state level stake holders
- Ability to share knowledge and learnings across varied forums at state-level and to National team
- Ability to identify best practices and suggest innovations
Desirable Qualification: MSW /MA Social Work/ M.Sc Graduate/ Post-graduate in relevant field of health and life sciences
Experience:
- At least 4-6 years’ experience in a reputed international/ large non-governmental organization/government organization
- Experience in managing government stake holders at state-level
- Experience in the TB program would be preferable
- Experience in state-level work desirable
Duration of posting:
- Fixed Term Contract
- The incumbent should be able to join the duty station at the earliest
Travel : Medium to Extensive (Field visit to State/Districts/ Blocks).
