Summary of the project:

As a part of its “Energy for Health” program, SELCO Foundation aims to strengthen health services delivery through the deployment of Decentralized Sustainable Energy Solutions for health centers across India, thereby improving access to quality health care.

SELCO Foundation is looking to develop Launch Videos and edited photographs that showcase Energy for Health program updates in the states of Sikkim, Nagaland and Manipur, where health facilities have been solar powered and integrated with efficient med-tech in partnership with state government.

The launch videos and photographs will highlight the blanket coverage achieved in each state, detailing the transformative changes brought about by Energy for Health program initiatives in these regions.

The videos and photographs should capture testimonials from different stakeholders — including ministers and health officers — and present the intervention as a model for climate-resilient health infrastructure. Content should be high-quality, story-driven, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each state’s visual and narrative context to inform and inspire stakeholders, partners, and the public about decentralized sustainable energy solutions’ potential for social and economic development. Audience: State-level health stakeholders and decision-makers who are critical to designing, implementing and sustaining Energy for Health programs; funders, partners, and wider public audiences for advocacy and knowledge dissemination.

Goals and Objectives

SELCO Foundation is seeking a professional service provider to create high-quality Launch Videos and photographs. The goal of this assignment is to capture the positive impact of the Energy for Health program within health facilities located in Sikkim, Nagaland and Manipur, and to produce assets for stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and knowledge dissemination.

Objectives:

• Document climate and access challenges in each state and demonstrate how decentralized renewable energy solutions contribute to resilient health centers in hard-to-reach areas.
• Capture human stories, program outcomes, and testimonials from government officers, health staff, patients, and community champions.
• Reflect cultural nuance and state-specific contexts in visual language and narrative.
• Provide SELCO with broadcast-quality video and high-resolution photographs, plus raw footage for future use.

Scope of Work:

The documentation should give a complete understanding of the Energy for Health program in each state, its impact and the way forward. It should portray the reality of the health scenario in each state and capture program intensity. Photo and video documentation should capture climate challenges and how decentralized renewable energy solutions address them, including med-tech integration and on-ground outcomes.

Location: Sikkim, Nagaland and Manipur (districts and exact sites will be shared at onboarding)
