Job Description

We are looking for field associate who can monitor and evaluate the early childhood education(ECE)services provided by Anganwadi centres in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. ECE is a crucial componentoftheIntegrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme that aims to promote holistic developmentandschool readiness of children aged 3 to 6 years. As a field associate, you will be responsible for:

• Visiting Anganwadi centres regularly and observing the ECE activities, curriculum, materials and methods used by Anganwadi workers and helpers.
• Visiting training’s conducted for Anganwadi workers and helpers on ECE and assessing their quality and effectiveness.
• Collecting data on the learning outcomes, attendance, enrolment and retention of childrenin ECE programmes.
• Preparing reports and feedback based on the data collected and suggesting areas of improvement.
• Coordinating with the district authorities, supervisors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of ECE services.
• Raising awareness among the community members about the benefits and importance of ECEforchildren’s development and learning.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Any graduate can apply.
• Experience of working in NGOs or similar organizations in the field of ECE, child development or educationpreferred.
• Knowledge of local language- Hindi (compulsory), local language (if any) and culture.
• Ability to travel extensively within the district and work in remote areas.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data management tools.

 Preference:

• Candidates are preferred who can interact easily with the District Officials.
