PMU Leader

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA (EDII) INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS IN SME DEVELOPMENT & ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR CHHATTISGARH, DAMAN & DIU, GUJARAT, LADAKH, PUDUCHERRY, UTTAR PRADESH:

Position: PMU Leader — Overall leadership, planning & monitoring, evaluation of capacity building, liaison with GoI

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership of the PMU and implement the RAMP programme within the state.
• Prepare project operational plans, annual workplans and budgets; monitor implementation and ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate with GoI, Nodal Agency, donors/World Bank task teams, state departments, and stakeholders.
• Oversee monitoring & evaluation, results frameworks, MIS/dashboarding, and independent evaluations.
• Ensure fiduciary compliance, timely reporting, and quality assurance of capacity building programmes.
• Represent the PMU at high-level meetings, steering committees and public events.

Required qualifications & experience:

• Master’s / Postgraduate degree in Management, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/MPA preferred.
• 12–20+ years of experience in programme/project management; prior PMU/State/central government / donor-funded project experience preferred.
• Demonstrable track record of leading multi-stakeholder programs, preferably in MSME, industry, or livelihoods.
• Strong knowledge of GoI schemes, central/state project protocols, results frameworks.

Skills & competencies:

• Strategic planning, stakeholder management, high-level liaison.
• Monitoring & evaluation, data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, report-writing, and public speaking skills.
• Team leadership, budget oversight.

KPIs / deliverables:

• Timely submission of monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
• Achievement of capacity-building targets and performance indicators.
• Successful coordination & approvals from GoI/donor.
• Quality assurance of procurement, financial and programmatic processes.

Remuneration: Up to ₹1,25,000/- per month
