Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager who can lead and strengthen our human resources systems, build a value-driven work culture, and support the organization's growing needs. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on aligning people and purpose.

Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Lead end-to-end recruitment: from job postings, screening, to interviews and onboarding
• Collaborate with program heads to assess hiring needs
• Develop and implement fair, inclusive hiring practices

Policy & HR Systems

• Develop and update HR policies in line with labor laws and organizational values
• Strengthen performance management systems and appraisal processes
• Maintain compliance, contracts, documentation, and employee records

Employee Engagement & Culture

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating workplace environment
• Organize staff engagement activities, training, and team building sessions
• Address grievances, conduct exit interviews, and promote retention

Learning & Development

• Identify training needs and coordinate staff development plans
• Facilitate capacity-building initiatives across teams

Strategic HR Planning

• Support leadership in aligning HR strategy with organizational growth
• Provide data-driven insights on people and organizational development

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in HR, Social Work, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience (NGO or social sector experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and people management
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work with diverse teams and uphold inclusion and equity

• Familiarity with gender-sensitive and community-driven frameworks
