Job Description
Lead Corporate Communication, Employer Branding and CSR across TE India locations with close co-ordination with the location leads and global teams. In addition, the incumbent will be the single point of contact for all internal and external communication and branding initiatives for TE India
Job Responsibilities
Corporate Communication & Branding
- Plan, direct, and implement the communications and corporate branding strategy initiatives and activities both internally and externally for TE India
- Help improve visibility for India leadership both in trade bodies and social media such as LinkedIn and other social digital platforms
- Work with various business units and functions to create high quality content (newsletters, videos, photoshoots etc.) about TE India operations/performance, India Macro trends and market dynamics and regularly update/participate in social media and other appropriate marketing campaigns/forums
- Be responsible for TE India corporate website & content, TE India Intranet Pages, Corporate Events & Collaterals - Host media, conduct media tours, maintain media database and relations, develop noteworthy stories, and compile news clippings on TE’s progress in India
- Take complete ownership to conduct quarterly town hall for all TE India employees
- Regular audits – Digital & non-digital branding as compliant with the global brand guidelines
- Prepare, manage and effectively utilize annual budgets for Branding & other corporate communication
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Lead CSR for India; this will involve forming a CSR strategy with focus on key focus areas, work closely with internal leads, volunteers, external partners and global/regional corporate CSR team for budget approval and spend update
- Conduct quarterly meetings with board members and provide update; work closely with finance and CS for statutory compliance
Employee Resource Group (ERG)
- Work closely with various Employee Resource Groups & Communities developing and executing communication and branding strategies.
- Partner on initiatives impacting CSR across the ERGs
- Own and publish monthly India business update working closely with country business and functional leaders, ERG (employee resource group) leads and JV partners
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Full time Master’s in Mass Communications/Mass Media/Public Relations or related field
- Certifications related to CSR/ESG etc. would be an added advantage
- At least 10+ years of work-related experience in the Manufacturing or related industries leading internal communication, branding and CSR
- Knowledge of communication tools, social media platforms and related platforms will be an added advantage
- Possess good industry network to execute both communication and CSR strategy
- Project manage, multi-task and prioritize different communication/branding/CSR initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Should be excellent in spoken & written communication (English – Must, local languages preferred)
- Operate Independently and willing to learn in a highly matrix organization
- Possess good working attitude and organization skills.
