Job Description

The M&E Coordinator based in Wayanad & Jeypore (Koraput) will report to the Head Monitoring and Evaluation supporting the implementation of a robust monitoring, evaluation, and learning system. This mid-level position will focus on development of project-based results frameworks, data collation on project deliverables , maintenance of a data base on program participants geography , outputs and other related project information and reporting to ensure evidence-based tracking of project and program outcomes. The role involves working in close collaboration with program teams across thematic areas such as ecotechnology, agriculture, biodiversity, livelihoods, climate change, and health as also the program management team

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in design and implementation of the programmatic and institutional level M&E framework.
• Work with the Head Monitoring and Evaluation to develop and implement project-specific M&E plans and reporting systems as also deciding on the periodicity of reporting on the indicators
• Participate in the project reviews conducted by the Project team leads to understand the progress on outputs and undertake random field verification on achievement of deliverables.
• Support in the design and analysis  of the baseline and endline studies for the projects  on the key indicators and also the impact assessment studies along with the project implementation teams.
• Support in managing and visualizing data, including preparing dashboards for monitoring progress and evaluation.
• Assist in synthesizing data into actionable insights and contribute to the preparation of knowledge products, such as case studies, blogs, and reports.
• Support in the harmonizing  of project-level indicators with program level and institutional-level indicators  for donor and board-level presentations.
• Collaborate with teams in capturing and documenting best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for scaling and replication.
• Provide inputs for periodical project reviews, evaluations, and audits as required for internal and external processes.
• Coordinate with the programme leaders/heads to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Skills:

• Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools and software.
• Knowledge of creating dashboards and data visualization tools.
• Strong communication and writing skills for preparing reports and knowledge products.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and manage field-level data collection.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Public Policy, Rural Development, Agriculture, or related fields with additional training or experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Experience: 8-10 years of M&E hands-on experience, preferably in projects/programmes related to agriculture, livelihoods, natural resource management, and capacity-building programs.
• Familiarity with M&E systems such as development  of log frames / results framework for projects,  framing and measurement of indicators and reporting on project deliverables and outcomes
