Job Description

Application invited for the position of Project Assistant Manager – Project – Impact Assessment of Swami Vivekanand Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana - UPDESCO

The candidate is required to:

• Assist the Project investigators in literature review for the background of the project
• Primary Data collection and Documentation of field notes, field visits for the project
• Co-ordinate the primary data collection efforts and consolidate and compile the data gathered
• Assist the investigators in the preliminary data analysis
• Coordinate with the UPDESCO team for relevant support
• Assist the investigators in the preparation of a professional report for the project

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Essential – Post Graduate/MBA in any field with first-class academic record throughout
• Essential – Research experience or experience of working on relevant projects, including field work of three years
• Essential – Proficient in MS Office tools, any data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, or Python, comfortable with qualitative research as well
• Preferred – Candidates pursuing a PhD or have completed a PhD

Salary

The candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration between Rs 35,000 to 45,000/- per month, depending on the educational qualification, relevant experience, and suitability for the position. Eligible candidate might also be suitably remunerated. No other allowances or benefits would be provided. The appointment is purely on a contractual basis.
