Job Description
The Senior CSR Manager will lead the IDFC FIRST Bank Scholarship Program, manage multiple CSR platform projects, and take ownership of additional CSR initiatives as required. This is a full-time, in-office role that demands exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and proficiency in managing technology squads and stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of AI for social impact is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Scholarship Program Management
- Execute end-to-end scholarship cycles for MBA, Engineering, and Economics programs.
- Ensure timely disbursements, receipt collection, and financial reconciliation.
- Respond promptly to scholar queries and manage engagement programs.
- Strengthen the USP of the scholarship program and enhance positioning.
- Drive mentorship at scale and build scholar/alumni networks across India.
- Organize LAS (employee volunteering) programs and scholar engagement sessions.
- Monitor compliance with CSR SOPs and audit requirements.
Technology Platform Management
- Oversee the scholarship tech platform to ensure smooth functioning.
- Review BRDs, user stories, test cases, and SIT/UAT timelines.
- Coordinate with tech teams for enhancements, bug fixes, and UI/UX improvements.
- Ensure data migration from previous years and maintain system stability.
- Manage CSR platform projects and run daily cadences with tech squads.
- Understand platform architecture or learn quickly; prior experience is an advantage.
Financial & Governance
- Coordinate with Finance for disbursements and reconciliations.
- Track budgets, audits, and ensure adherence to CSR governance guidelines.
- Manage agreements, addendums, and vendor audits.
- Ensure compliance with CSR regulations and DPDP Act requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Conduct impact assessments to measure scholarship outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Take ownership of additional CSR initiatives aligned with CSR strategy and governance.
- Liaise with colleges, universities, NGO partners, and vendors.
- Draft communication for students, colleges, and internal teams including CSR Committee.
- Prepare MIS reports (weekly/monthly), escalation reports, and progress reviews (MPR, QPR, HPR, APR).
- Ensure all reports and MOMs are uploaded on shared drives.
- Manage remote tech teams effectively, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- MBA, MSW, or Master’s in Development Studies (or equivalent postgraduate degree in social impact/CSR).
Experience
- Proven 8 to 10 years of experience in CSR program management and operational execution.
- Prior exposure to managing technology platforms and tech squads.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and remote team management.
Skills and Attributes
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Strong project/program management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of AI for social impact (preferred).
- Understanding of CSR regulations (mandatory); DPDP Act compliance (good to have).
