Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to grow and engage our digital community. The ideal candidate will bring strong storytelling skills, hands-on social media management experience, and a passion for driving impact through digital advocacy.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Mobile Creches’ social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.)
• Create compelling content (posts, reels, infographics, short videos, blogs) that highlights our work, impact, and advocacy messages
• Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and timely posts aligned with campaigns and organizational priorities
• Engage with audiences: respond to comments, build conversations, and foster a strong online community
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics; recommend strategies for growth and engagement
• Stay up to date on social media trends, NGO/CSR sector narratives, and leverage them for creative campaigns
• Collaborate with program, fundraising, and communications teams to ensure integrated messaging
• Support digital campaigns for fundraising, partnerships, and advocacy initiatives

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in social media management, preferably in the development/NGO/social impact sector
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools
• Proven ability to create engaging visual and written content
• Basic design/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and other Indian languages is an advantage
• Passion for social change, children’s rights, and development issues
