About the Organization

The Government of India established the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) in November 1999. The PSA’s office aims to provide pragmatic and objective advice to the Prime Minister and the cabinet in matters of Science and Technology. The Office of PSA was placed under the Cabinet Secretariat in August, 2018.

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to research & analysis on matters relating to science & tech policy, especially focused on international relations and technology diplomacy.
• Contribute to quantitative analysis via science & technology indicators.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Interest and demonstrated experience in Science & Tech policy.
• Interest in international relations and technology diplomacy.
