About the Conference

School of Agriculture under the aegis of Lovely Professional University takes great privilege in announcing its International Conference on ”Recent Trends in Smart and Sustainable Agriculture for Food and Nutritional Security”, which is going to be held as a live-streamed and interactive event. This is a two day event slated for 24-25 November 2023.

The agenda of the consortium is to congregate an array of leading academic scientists, researchers, students and industrialists to exchange and share their experiences about the scientific work done in the vital disciplines of crop production and plant protection, agricultural waste management, modern technologies in agriculture, climate resilient agriculture, millets as promising food crops, food and industrial microbiology, novel food technologies, post-harvest and value addition as well as nutrition and human health.

The worldwide conference will be aiming to bring together keynote speakers, presentations, talks and e-posters showcasing the latest research and addressing key topics in the field in a very rich programme. Contributions which bridge themes or scales, foster interdisciplinarity and integration or address interactions between science and non-academic stakeholders (civil society, private sector and policy makers) are particularly welcome.

The conference is centered around topics like sustainable agriculture, food security, natural resource management and cutting edge research in the field of agriculture and allied fields. It will also promote communication among scholars and practitioners from other scientific fields who share an interest in enhancing Agricultural approaches as well as providing numerous networking and collaboration opportunities. The conference intends to maximize the impact of science and innovation on society with the help of policy makers and transfer of technology as its prime ambition.
