About the Organization

Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, established in 1985 under Tmt. Kannammal Educational Trust, is a premier institution offering diverse programs in Engineering, Medical, Dental, Humanities, and Sciences. The Faculty of Architecture, founded in 1993 and restructured in 2011, strives to achieve international standards in education and societal relevance through innovative solutions to pressing global issues.

The Faculty of Architecture was established in 1993 and restructured in 2011 to meet international standards in architectural education. It offers a variety of programs, including B.Arch., B. Design, and M.Arch., with specializations in Construction Project Management, Interior Architecture, and Landscape Architecture, along with Ph.D. programs. The department emphasizes innovation and societal relevance by addressing issues like the built environment and urban morphology. It provides a dynamic learning experience that encourages architectural aspirants to develop creative and practical solutions to pressing societal needs.
