1. About Bharti Airtel Foundation 

The Bharti Airtel Foundation was established in the year 2000 as the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises. Its  mission is to empower underprivileged children and youth in India to realize their full potential. The Foundation  focuses on providing holistic, quality education in rural areas, with a special emphasis on girl children. It collaborates  with premier institutions to support higher education programs. 

Since 2006, the flagship initiative of the Bharti Airtel Foundation, the Satya Bharti School Program, has been offering  free quality education to thousands of underprivileged children across 173 schools in rural India, spanning five states.  Currently, over 40,000 students are enrolled in Satya Bharti Schools, with 50% of them being girls. 

Beyond academic performance, Satya Bharti Schools emphasize holistic education through innovative activities  within the school and community. These activities include experiential learning, project-based and activity-based  approaches, art-integrated learning, story-based pedagogy, and the use of educational technology resources etc.  Additionally, community campaigns and service initiatives contribute to building vocational skills among students,  preparing them for future employability.  

The impact of quality education has been widened by transferring the learning and good practices of this program  to more than 3 lakh students studying in 800+ partnering government schools across 11 States/UTs, through Satya  Bharti Quality Support Program (QSP), since 2013. Most of the processes under QSP were found to be pragmatic.  Bharti Airtel Foundation was invited by several education officers at district and state level to scale up some of the  initiatives through QSP At Scale. The Foundation has recently launched a new initiative, TheTeacherApp, one of the  most innovative technology solution for teachers and educators in the country. In response to the government’s  Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Foundation initiated Satya Bharti Abhiyan from 2014 to 2021 which benefitted over 2  lakh beneficiaries by improving sanitation conditions in the districts of Punjab. 2. Background and Context  

The storyboarding Content is an important and integral component of the TAPP. The Bharti Airtel  Foundation are looking for agencies or vendors with diverse creative skills of story boarding Video and  Audio Content creations for Educational Stream and provide attention to detail making sure and Subject  Matter Experts are successfully able to explain the course content to students/learners effectively and who  is having expertise in the below 

1. Writing the script/voice over of the modules and assessment questions (CFUs Scenarios based higher-order MCQs) keeping the agreed upon time-limit in mind 
2. Creating handouts, process-pdfs as additional readings for each sub-module 
3. Proper referencing, links with resources used to be shared with each sub-module
4. Complete process will involve 

• Scoping 
• Script Writing 
• Storyboard (Chunked Voice over (not more than 5 frames for each slide),  
• Visual Story Board (Detailed production instructions for designers for placement  on the slide, duration marked, chunk-wise visuals- brief for illustrators and  
• reference images and on-screen text). Format will be provided by the TAPP team.  
• Assessment (20 questions)

Output from vendor is expected shall be in Subject experts should provide a storyboard  for animation. The Agencies/vendors should produce animation/multimedia files for the  supplied storyboard using the latest 2D and 3D animation techniques, Agencies will also  need to interact with the experts (content writers) for all intermediate work related to  the production of animation. The final output should be supplied to representative of  Bharti Airtel foundation. Detailed responsibilities will be made in agreement once the  vendor is finalized with all responsibilities and contact points. Each final topic may be 30  minutes to 120 minutes and will be decided by the SPOC of Bharti Airtel foundation. A  clear description of visuals, as well as text is required on Video Screen. Agencies/Vendors  are advised to use Indian faces (as far as possible) in animation and images in videos.  Training demonstration, an illustration of examples, case study, documentary, etc should  be added wherever applicable through the Instructional Designer as per the alignment  with Bharti Airtel foundation.

g. Selection Criteria 

• Experience in similar domain in Story boarding  
• Have experience in executing major national level Ed Tech project. 
• The payment to agencies/Vendors shall be made on the clear recommendation/  authorization of completion certification by the SPOC of the Bharti airtel  
• foundation. 
• Company with favorable credit terms for Bharti Airtel Group  
• Technical expertise in providing similar topics  
• Quality assurance of supplier including voice/ content / reference checks 

Vendors will be evaluated based on their execution strategy, team knowledge, and previous client expertise. Experience in similar domain, language transcription and technical presentation to  technical committee. 

Any influence by the participating company will automatically disqualify. Bharti Airtel foundation has the right to  reject any agency without any reason if company feels so.
