Description of RFP

HCLFoundation requests for proposal from eligible NGOs / CSR agencies for implementation of Behaviour Change Communication activities in rural areas of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh. The proposals focusing on the innovative solutions for the behavior change communication, which will accentuate sustainable practices such as inclusivity, targeting entire communities in the Gram Panchayat. The proposal should more prioritize on community engagement and strengthen the capacity of Panchayats by introducing innovative tools/methods/strategy for communication campaigns.  The suggestive communication activities in the proposal must be aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission – Grameen- I&II guidelines (SBM-G, Phase I & II).

Scope of Work and Geography

Submit a comprehensive proposal aligning with With SBM (G) Phase- I&II Guidelines as well as SSR (Swachh Survekshans ranking), focusing on behavioural change and sustaining Open Defecation Free (ODF) status in villages. Emphasize safe hygiene practices, solid waste management, and visual cleanliness. The proposal should prioritize promoting overall health and hygiene through behavioural change communication and community awareness. NGOs should include activity details, implementation processes, monitoring matrix, and impact indicators incorporating Swachhata ranking indicators. While key areas of work are suggested, partners have the flexibility to propose activities based on their expertise to achieve sachhata ranking and the ODF Plus Model Village status outlined in SBM (G) Phase-II.

• Any support request letter from Govt. in context of COVID-19.
