Roles and Responsibilities
Job Role and Description:
The role of an Assistant Manager Marketing is pivotal in helping execute and support various marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement for craft products. Here's a breakdown of the core responsibilities and expectations for this position:
- 1. Marketing activities and Assistive services for Members & AIACA supported enterprises
- Support Manager in coordinating the marketing activities of AIACA & Craftmark
- Implementation of marketing partnerships
- to coordinate with existing buyers for enquiries and orders
- Support in activities that help in enhancing Visibility of AIACA/Craftmark- craft sessions, workshops, other activities
- Support in events being organized by AIACA under Craftkatha
- implementation of various marketing opportunities for craftmark members and AIACA supported groups like exhibitions, retail space
- Supporting in various partnership
- 2. AIACA Direct Sales
- Expanding the list of domestic buyers
- Expanding the list of international buyers
- Exploring corporate gifting orders on various occasions
- Help in order implementations through vendor coordination and QC.

- 3. MIS and Documentation
- Maintaining proper documentation like bills, etc.
- Maintaining MIS
- 4. Product Curation & Cataloging
- Arranging products from Artisans groups & Members to make product offering presentations for the buyers.
- Any Other Task
- Any other task assigned by Manager
Competency/ Skill sets required:
- Understanding of Indian traditional crafts sectors/ Handloom and Handicraft work
- Experience of working with craft NGOs, craft producer/member groups, craft-based CSR organizations
- Sound office IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Forms etc.
- Ability to manage data and records and analyze and interpret data
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Craft based marketing Platforms and exhibitions
- Excellent communication skills; both written and spoken
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- BBA/ MBA/ Any Graduate preferable
- 1-3 years’ experience of working in the Craft sector in marketing/business development profile
Salary/ Compensation:
The Salary/Compensation offered will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
