Job Position -Associate Manager – Eco-School Program

Preferred Location – Ahmedabad

Salary- 6.5 LPA - 8.4 LPA
About the Positions:

The Associate Manager – Eco-School Program will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling eco-school initiatives across educational institutions. This role requires a deep understanding of education programs, environmental sustainability, and the ability to foster partnerships with schools and stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

Program Design and Development

• Conceptualize and design innovative eco-school programs integrating environmental education into school curricula.
• Develop tools, resources, and frameworks to support schools in adopting sustainable practices.
• Ensure alignment with national and global sustainability education standards.

Program Implementation

• Manage the rollout of eco-school programs across partner schools.
• Coordinate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building initiatives for educators and students.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Develop monitoring tools and frameworks to assess program impact and effectiveness.
• Regularly evaluate program performance and implement necessary improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with schools, education boards, environmental organizations, and government bodies.
• Facilitate collaborations with local communities to promote eco-friendly practices in and around schools.

Content Development

• Create age-appropriate educational content, including lesson plans, activity guides, and multimedia materials, focused on environmental topics.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and innovations in environmental education.

Awareness and Advocacy

• Organize events, campaigns, and competitions to promote eco-school initiatives.
• Advocate for sustainable practices and policies in educational institutions.

Travel and On-Site Support

• Travel to schools across operational regions to provide hands-on support, training, and program implementation as needed.

Qualification and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in managing education programs in schools, preferably with an environmental or sustainability focus.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing school programs.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of environmental concepts, sustainability frameworks, and climate change education.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in working with schools, teachers, and students on environmental initiatives.
• Knowledge of government policies and programs related to school education and environmental sustainability.
• Ability to create engaging educational materials and conduct interactive workshops.
• Familiarity with EdTech tools and platforms for virtual learning.
