Purpose of Job

Digital Bharat Collaborative is seeking a Business System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, identifying and documenting system requirements, and designing and implementing technology solutions for healthcare organization.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medicine or related field

Or

Marsters in Public Health/Health Administration with experience of working in healthcare domain

Essential Experience

●       Up to 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, including experience in business analysis, system design, and implementation.

●       Demonstrated experience in the analysis of business requirements and the development of system requirements.

Essential Skills

●       Business & Systems Analysis: Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to meet objectives through primary and secondary data sources.

●       Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Proficient gathering requirements from varied stakeholders through online/offline interactions (surveys, interviews, focused groups etc) in documenting requirements, including BRDs, user stories, and process flows.

●       Data & Systems Analysis: Basic understanding of data analysis (e.g., DIKW, descriptive stats, patient records, healthcare utilization) and evaluating information systems for improvements. Understanding of data standards, ethics, privacy & security for healthcare domain (including but not limited to DPDP/GDPR etc)

●       Project Coordination: Ability to assist in planning and managing timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

●       Technical Familiarity: Exposure to healthcare IT systems, EHR platforms, UI/UX concepts, and data visualization tools.

●       Testing & Quality Assurance: Basic experience in testing applications to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.

●       Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the public health domain and healthcare-related software.

●       Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in teams.

●       Problem-solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges and proposing practical, data-driven solutions.

●       Training & Demos: Capability to assist in delivering user training and product demos.

Good to have

●       Experience working with tools like PowerBI, MS Office Suite, Whiteboarding tools like Figma/MS Whiteboard,

●       Experience/Understanding of Python/R/Stata MySQL

●       SDLC, Agile methodology, Jira, API testing

Key Roles/Responsibilities: 

●       Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to collect and document business and system requirements.

●       Documentation & Workflow Design: Assist in preparing documentation, such as BRDs, process flows, and wireframes. Work with No-code-low-code tools to create prototypes/PoCs

●       Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct functional testing of platforms to ensure quality and alignment with requirements.

●       User Training & Support: Help develop and deliver training materials and provide user support.

●       Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with developers and project teams to ensure smooth integration of new technology solutions.

●       Product Demos: Support product demonstrations for stakeholders and end users.

●       Innovation: Stay updated on healthcare and technology trends to recommend practical improvements.
