About the Organization

Since 2008, Daya Rehabilitation Trust has been operating as THANAL, authorised by the Indian Trust Act, and has made significant progress in its philanthropic activities. THANAL is the founding of a group of people who share a sense of patronage and brotherhood, offering their support to the most vulnerable in society. The name ‘THANAL’ gave rise to its philanthropic aspirations as a reassurance and social security upholding the rights and dignity of society’s most underrepresented population. The humanitarian movements in all senses have received the goodwill and generous help of well-wishers from the local community. We have been actively involved in humanitarian work in 15 states in India, focusing on Rehabilitation. THANAL’s main tenet is to operate in fields where most social actors are missing, providing aid or leading initiatives for the most marginalised and at-risk groups. It has been operating for 14 years with the mission of aiding the most vulnerable people while pledging to have a significant impact on as many lives as possible. Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CSR Head – Fundraising to lead and implement fundraising strategies, develop corporate partnerships, and drive CSR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, donor relationship management, corporate partnerships, and impact-driven CSR programs.

Job Responsibilities

Fundraising & Donor Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure financial support from corporates, HNIs (High Net-worth Individuals), foundations, and grant-making organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key donors, CSR teams, and funding agencies.
  • Identify and approach potential funding sources, pitch proposals, and negotiate agreements.
  • Monitor and ensure the proper utilization of funds, preparing impact reports for donors.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy

  • Develop and implement CSR programs aligned with corporate donors' ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) objectives.
  • Work closely with corporate partners to create impactful and sustainable social initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with CSR policies and regulatory frameworks, including CSR Law (Section 135, Companies Act 2013).

Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish strategic partnerships with corporations, government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
  • Engage with CSR heads of companies to secure funding for social impact projects.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, CSR forums, and industry conferences.

Proposal Writing & Grant Management

  • Draft compelling grant proposals, CSR project reports, and impact assessment documents.
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal process, from research to submission and follow-ups.
  • Track and report on fundraising performance, donor engagement, and financials.

Team Leadership & Capacity Building

  • Lead and mentor a team of fundraising executives and CSR professionals.
  • Train staff on fundraising strategies, donor management, and partnership development.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Business Administration (MBA), Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in fundraising, CSR initiatives, NGO project management, and donor relations.
  • Proven track record of raising significant funds from corporates, international donors, and foundations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CSR laws, compliance, and funding policies in India.
  • Excellent proposal writing, budgeting, and impact assessment skills.
  • Experience using fundraising CRM tools and donor management software.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • High-level networking and relationship-building skills.
