Summary: This role involves leading strategic actions and assisting managing trustees & consulting agencies to ensure smooth operations of all programs.

What Do We Expect From This Position:

  1.  Program Implementation & Operations Management:
    1. Oversee the design, implementation, & evaluation of programs to ensure they meet the community's needs and align with the organisation's objectives.
    2. Ensure that the operational policies and standard operating procedures are contemporary and aligned to best practices and recommend changes to the leadership team as appropriate.
    3. Oversee the daily operations of the organisation and the work of executives (IT, HR, Communications, Finance, etc.)
    4. Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process & keep track of budget utilisation against the yearly plan.
    5. Provide analytical support to Trust’s governing council team, including developing internal management reporting capabilities.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    1. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
    2. Foster a positive, inclusive work culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    3. Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, and set objectives and priorities.
  3. Stakeholder Relations:
    1. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with donors, partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
    2. Represent the organisation at public events, conferences, & media interactions.
    3. Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with Implementation partners of all sizes to reach scale.
    4. Provide senior leadership & consulting agency (TBL) and external stakeholders with regular value-added reports that identify & track the status of programs, projects, milestones, and deliverables.
  4. Financial Management:
    1. Manage the budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and compliance with funding sources.

How Does Our Ideal Candidate Look Like?

Education & Experience

●       Master’s degree in social work and a Deep Passion for bringing change.

●       Proven experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organisation or similar sector.

Knowledge & Skills

●       Strong strategic planning and organisational skills

●       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

●       Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
