The National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) is India’s oldest and largest national, non-profit, independent economic research institute. Job Responsibilities

• Supporting institutional Communications and Outreach team in creating, curating, and editing NCAER’s work including publications, events, journals, annual reports, research papers, articles, newsletters, manuscripts for publication and digital content for website and social media handles (Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Support planning, developing, effectively leveraging and delivering NCAER’s seminars, conferences, workshops, report launches, and related public events for print and digital media dissemination and amplification.
• Collect and compile information and material for publication and dissemination from various teams.
• Performing any other tasks or activities assigned by the institution as deemed necessary to leverage institution’s mandate.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Economics with degree/diploma in Mass Communications, Journalism or related fields from a reputed institution.
• Experience: Prior experience in content creation, editing, writing in economic research or policy institute is highly desirable.
• Time Management: Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and managing multiple tasks efficiently as assigned by the institution.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Acumen for attention to detail for identifying and rectifying errors to ensure accuracy and consistency of content. And, familiarity with various editing style guides for textual and reference citations in research.
• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint and other designing, editing and writing digital tools including Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and so on.
