About the Organization

Established as a Charitable Trust on 27 November, 1969, WWF India set out with the aim of reducing the degradation of Earth’s natural environment and building a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. In 1987, the organization changed it's name from the World Wildlife Fund to World Wide Fund for Nature India. With five decades of extensive work in the sector, WWF India today is one of the leading conservation organizations in the country.

Job Responsibilities

Content development

• Write scientifically accurate and engaging educational content in different formats (articles, newsletters, slide decks, video scripts, reports, etc.) for a variety of audiences
• Editing: Identifying errors, factual inaccuracies, issues with context or clarity
• Identify high-quality images for content and design slide decks
• Draft newsletters, outreach materials, and educational social media posts and creatives.

Trainings and events

• Support the EE division in content and capacity-building activities, both digital and on-ground
• Assist in developing training materials
• Support in organisation and delivery of workshops, trainings, and events
• Draft event-related materials, social media announcements, and conduct post-event surveys.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Post-graduate degree in environmental science / wildlife biology / life sciences or any other relevant scientific discipline from a reputed university
• 2-4 years of experience in curriculum development, content development, and editing (preferred)
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability issues with the ability to translate scientific concepts into accessible educational content
• Familiarity with formal school curricula (CBSE, ICSE, IB) and private school educational requirements is an advantage.
