Field Investigator

To do the Field level data collection as per the designed data collection instruments (tool) in the assigned geographical area.

Consultant data collectors will be responsible for implementing the RMLE data collection efforts in Her/his assigned Block/District. S/he will ensure complete adherence to protocol and quality of data collection

• To ensure high-level of adherence to the data collection protocol.
• To ensure maximum efficiency of data collection by developing efficient operational plan, travel plan and logistic plan.
• To ensure completion of agreed task of data collection within the timeline.
• To maintain high quality in sample selection.
• To maintain high quality of data by ensuring correct and reliable data are captured while administering all the instruments.
• To provide support in conducting per-testing and cognitive testing of any new instrument.
• Minimum Bachelor degree in any discipline with 2-3 year relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Hindi and local dialects of Bihar.
• Experience of large scale of data collection

Field Supervisor

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Consultant- Field Supervisor will be ensure the quality of data for the project, providing hand holding support to the team and quality observation and closely working under the guidance of the project operation lead/Manager

• To be thorough with the implementation protocol of the study and to ensure its adherence by the deployed Consultant- allotted Data Collectors.
• To maintain data sanctity by conducting rigorous and time-bound back-checks, spot-checks and Audio checks of the data collected by Consultant- Data Collectors.
• To monitor Consultant- Data Collectors, maintain their daily output.
• Ensure zero tolerance in case of data fudging.
• Training and supportive supervision.
• To impart study-specific training to concerned data collectors on study tools and data collection protocol.
• To identify areas of deficiencies in data collector and to conduct training for addressing the gaps.
• To provide hand-holding support to data collectors as and when needed.

Other activities:

• To conduct primary data collection as and when required.
• To support in maintenance of logistics and field movement planning.
• To prepare and share consolidated reports on the quality of data collection.

Conduct 10% to 15% quality checks (Spot, back and audio checks) of collected data.

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline with two-year relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as supervisor.

Data Analyst

Consultant data analyst will be responsible for Data management , data Cleaning and periodically providing updated data tables with basic / advance analysis.

• Data Cleaning: Cleaning of raw data - including error correction, managing loss of information, data mapping, removing duplicate entries, removing extraneous responses, coding of open-ended responses etc.
• Preparing data analysis plan / tabulation plan in consultation with RMLE managers.
• Analysis of data to produce frequencies of different indicators, descriptive, cross-tabs, simple correlations etc.
• Writing syntaxes for concurrent data analysis
• Run analyses on available data sets to generate hypotheses that can be tested, with a focus on factors that explain patterns in disease incidence.
• Collation and analysis of secondary data from different national portal
• Undertake systematic literature reviews to help generate hypotheses or to help design studies related to the disease, system preparedness as well as risk factors.
• Undertake field visits to gather all relevant understanding and develop new hypothesis/studies for supporting intervention efforts in this regard.
• Coordinate the operations of data collection and ensure efficient execution of the ongoing activities in this regard.
• Travel to the field areas as required to gather and/or verify data for 30% of the time approximately.
• Contribute to documentation and dissemination (Slide decks, report etc.) of analyses and lessons appropriately.
• Pay meticulous attention to detail and quality in all actions.
• Work closely with the rest of the team and ensure that the wide range of wisdom and experience within the team is fairly captured and crystallized.
• Any other activities assigned by the concerned supervisor.
  • Bachelor degree in any discipline with two-year relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in SAS , STATA and other analytical software.

Data Entry Operator cum Transcriptionist.

Data entry operator cum Transcription will be responsible for collating, compiling, and transcribing the data generated through RMLE.

• Transcription and translation of qualitative data collected by RMLE ASSIST_24.
• Mapping exercise for case-details.
• Code book preparation of RMLE studies.
• Developing short case studies form collected data.
• Support in data Cleaning and data base Management for the collected data through ASSIST.
• Support in preparation of tool / CAPI tool and testing of the tools.
• Daily tracking of data collection from the filed.

Collation of the filed level daily reporting formats

• Intermediate/Graduation with two-year relevant work experience .
• Certificate course in computer application
