About the Organization

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 as the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work. In 1944, it was renamed as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The year 1964 was an important landmark in the history of the Institute, when it was declared Deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act (UGC), 1956.

Job Responsibilities

• The interns will play the role of community managers on Whatsapp groups with teachers, where in they will manage the chats and identify and respond to issues faced by the teachers in doing the courses rolled out by CETE
• The interns will get opportunity to engage in big data analysis, data cleaning, data tabulation, data interpretation and, report writing etc.
• They will also have an opportunity to engage in analysis of data related to subject specific courses and support webinars and facilitation of sessions.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MA Education, Bed and Med students who have undergone pedagogy courses of English, Math, Science and Social Science.

Salary

Rs. 5,000/- ( Per Month excluding all taxes)
