Job Description
We are looking for a District Coordinator to support the implementation of the Full Immunization Coverage (FIC) project for Zero Dose children. The role involves coordinating immunization sessions, stakeholder collaboration, data management, and mentoring block-level teams.
Job Responsibilities
Data Collection and Insights:
- Regularly collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision-making and enhance program effectiveness.
- Conduct field visits to gather data directly from beneficiaries and target populations, ensuring insights reflect on-ground realities.
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
- Design and implement a robust M&E framework aligned with the program’s theory of change, goals, and objectives.
- Develop and utilize monitoring tools and systems to track progress, measure outcomes, and ensure alignment with program targets.
Social Behavior Change Communication (SBCC):
- Integrate SBCC strategies into M&E activities to evaluate their impact on community awareness and behavior regarding immunization.
- Collect and analyze data to identify gaps in SBCC efforts and recommend targeted interventions for improving immunization coverage.
Community Engagement and Feedback:
- Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to gather feedback on immunization services and outreach strategies.
- Facilitate participatory approaches to improve program design and delivery, ensuring alignment with community needs.
Capacity Building:
- Strengthen the capacity of staff, field teams, and partners to incorporate monitoring and evaluation in their routine work.
- Conduct training sessions focused on data collection, analysis, and the use of M&E tools to support SBCC initiatives.
Impact and Success Analysis:
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the long-term effects of program interventions on immunization rates and community health.
- Identify key success factors, challenges, and lessons learned to inform program adjustments and improve future outcomes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
- Document success stories, best practices, and case studies that showcase the programs impact on immunization in Bihar.
Strategic Recommendations:
- Analyze critical concerns in routine immunization and generate actionable insights to optimize program strategies and outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations for enhancing SBCC efforts and addressing gaps in immunization coverage.
Visual Documentation:
- Support the creation of visual content, such as videos, photos, and infographics, to communicate program impact effectively to stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in other programmatic activities as assigned by the reporting officer, contributing to broader LEHS initiatives and goals.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- A degree in Population Studies, Demography, Statistics, Public Health, or related streams, with preference for advanced qualifications (e.g., Master’s or MPH).
- 6–8 years of experience managing state-level programs with a focus on learning, impact, and primary healthcare integration.
- Proficiency in evaluating and integrating technology solutions, with a strong understanding of mobile-first and cloud-first principles. Skilled in using open-source digital M&E tools (e.g., ODK, Kobo Collect), data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and application development.
- Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing web and mobile applications, with experience managing data science-driven products.
- Strong understanding of public health strategies and the ability to effectively align these with innovative technology solutions.
