About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the field investigator in field related activities of the project that include enrollment of the study participants, taking consent, interviewing the study participants, facilitating the required investigations, data collection and data entry.
• Counselling study participants regarding the sample collection and performing the sample collection activities.
• Ensuring the samples collected are transported as per designed protocols and reach the testing facility on the day of collection.
• Ensuring the participants enrolled receive their thyroid profile results by doing home visits/phone calls.
• Performing any other study related activity delegated by Principal investigator or coinvestigators.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Essential: 2-year diploma in medical laboratory technician or one-year DMLT plus one year experience of working in a recognized organization, or Phlebotomy technician course certified through NSDC with one year of field/laboratory experience in a govt recognized organization
• Desirable: Experience of working in field/outreach activities involving active interaction with the community.

Salary

Rs 26,000 per month /- and TA/DA as per entitlements.
