Job Description

We are looking for a Project Officer – Solid & Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) to lead community-level waste management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, execution, and supervision of SLWM activities, along with strong community engagement skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate and execute community/village level meetings
• Plan mass awareness campaign, IEC materials, rallies, school engagement plan etc
• Supervise, support and monitor supervisors, waste pickers and workers
• Form residential committees and maintain the records as per the standard format
• Take all reports from the supervisors and submit to the Project manager
• Ensure waste collection on the planned routes and follow ups etc
• Train & motivate waste pickers and supervisors

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Social Sciences or Rural Development

Experience-

• Experience of 3-4 Years in Development Sector/ Corporate Sector on the areas of WASH, Waste Management, School Education, Skill Development, Training and Capacity Building

Key Skills-

• Documentation, Presentation, well versed with Microsoft Office tools

Salary

2.30 to 2.55 Lakh per Annum.
