Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate / Assistant for the study on ‘Comprehensive Review of Panchayat Finances and Measures to Augment their Revenue’ commissioned by 16th Finance Commission, Government of India.

• Data collection from Panchayati Raj Institutions
• Data Analysis (revenue, expenditure, grants)
• Development of case studies (own revenue generation, house tax collection, optimal use of grants)
• Report writing

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences (Economics, Political Science, Public Administration). Candidates with Public Finance or public administration as specialization in postgraduate or with work experience in the relevant area would be preferred.

Salary

The consolidated remuneration will be Rs.40,000 – Rs. 50,000 per month, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and fit with the position.
