Job Description/Responsibilities

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate(s) for the project “Lakhpati Didi Scoping Study and Lighthouse SHG study”.

• Collating and reviewing relevant materials and background literature for the study.
• Assist faculty in the development of data collection tools (survey schedule, FGD guide, Semistructured Interviews guide).
• Undertake initial data collection and supervise the role of field enumerators in data
• collection.
• Overall assistance in managing the administration of data collection and any other researchrelated activities for the GLPC under the scope of the study.
• Assist faculty team in data analysis and report writing.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree with at least second division in Social Sciences, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, Social Work, Development Studies, Developmental Economics, Rural Development, Management and allied areas.
• Candidates possessing the necessary work and research experience in data collection, and data analysis and working in academic institutions will be preferred.
• The candidate should possess strong communication skills in Gujarati and English, encompassing both written and oral proficiency

Salary

The Research Associates will be appointed on a contractual basis, with a consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000/- per month based on experience and qualifications.
